This years Rosedale Show, (our village's agricultural show) has a class in the Crafts tent..... Make a Papier Mache bowl in the style of Gillies Jones. We will be choosing the winner this year and awarding a glass bowl.

If you come up to visit the studio these next few weeks, you'll find it eerily quiet and cool. Our furnace is off for annual maintenance.

Just spent a very lovely two weeks in Turkey working with Janusz Pozniac and 6 students at a glass school just north of Istanbul. We can recommend Cam Ogaci if you are looking for a short course or indeed, a wonderful busmans.

We design and make four new limited editions each year of the wild flowers we find growing in and around our studio. Our studio is in the middle of the North York Moors, a stunning, rich, diverse and ever changing landscape. A wide variety of colourful wild flowers have been returning to the grass verges in the National Park since cutting the summer grasses ceased. The wild flowers have been spreading slowly through the valley bottoms.
