Workshop & Gallery
Built in 1827 and previously the village blacksmiths forge, Stephen blows glass in our hotshop. Next door we display a range of pieces in our gallery. We are open to visitors all week, please click here for opening times and map. French Huguenot glassmakers worked in Rosedale in the late 1500's; the remains of one furnace can be viewed at the Ryedale Folk Museum in Hutton le Hole.

Where we work
We make our glass by hand in Rosedale Abbey, inspired by our location in the heart of the North York Moors National Park. We observe the shapes, colour, textures and beauty found in the slow construction of the landscape around us and the changes brought about by thousands of years
of land management and the harsh northern elements.
