Wonderful Glass
Glass artist Shelley James explored the birth of clear glass nearly 800 years ago in Murano in the BBC Revolutions series.
It's a fascinating look at this wonderful material, samphire.... who knew?
The British Glass Biennale
Delighted to say we have been selected to show a piece at the British Glass Biennale.
The show is at the Glasshouse Art Centre, The Ruskin Glass Centre, Wollaston Road, Amblecote, Stourbridge DY8 4HF and opens on 23rd August until 28th September 10am - 4pm
Blown Away - Netflix
There's a link below to a great review of the new Netflix series "Blownaway".... which features 10 artist glassmakers, including the wonderful Janusz Pozniac.
You may well remember Janusz when he visited our studio back in 1993 as part of the Arts Council funded project 'Steal with Your Eyes'.
Janusz demoed his incredible skill, understanding of the material and his artistry.
So, if you like the great British Bake off Forumla of reality TV you will absolutely love this new series on Netflix. Enjoy.
