It's that time of year when the glass is packed away and the paint brushes come out.

As we prepare to reopen our doors on March 1st for our thirtieth year blowing glass in Rosedale, we are working to make the pace spic and span.

We are open to visitors up to December 20th and close for Christmas at 4pm

Online and telephone orders for Christmas Delivery will be accepted and posted up to 3pm on 19th December.

All bowl and vase orders will be automatically gift boxed up to 19th December.

It is a bit blowy, we are grateful the east coast has been spared the worst of the storm, though some of these gusts are a thing!

Our on a camera walk on the moor top the land management, cutting and burning of the moorland is clearly evident. This makes a complex collection shapes, textures and colours. Just beautiful.

The light over Rosedale today was wonderful... half an hour later it became too hazy for pics as the smoke from a moor burn filled the dale..... I understand the reasons for the moor burn but sometimes it's hard to live with.
