A wet day has it's own beauty, there's always something wonderful to find in Rosedale. 

Simplicity itself... a Hellebore gathered from the garden in one of our small white vases.

It's a glorious spring day. Enjoyed a tour of the moors, noticing signs of spring and feeling the warmth of the sun.

Our doors are once again open to visitors:
Monday to Saturday 10-4.
Sundays 2-4.

Find our studio in Rosedale Abbey, North York Moors, we are behind the village Church away from the main crossroads.

You might like to combine a visit with:
Graze on the Green
Abbey Stores and Tea Room
The Coach House Inn

Or perhaps enjoy the almost completed Andy Goldsworthy walk.

There’s just a little bit of local glass there too.

Rosedale has much to offer and there is literally always a warm welcome here at Gillies Jones.

For the next few weeks we will be working behind closed doors crafting new unique works.

From 18th - 24th December, we will be in Newcastle John Lewis with our small bowls and vases at our first ever POP UP.  It's a brave new world.

We are open to visitors until 4pm December 20th.

If you are coming to visit us, at present the road North of Rosedale is closed. 

Highways are assessing the water damage and scale of the slip.

It is a long detour, it is poorly signed (I believe highways to their best, yes my eyes are rolling) and do avoid Chimney bank after a frost even on a sunny day!

The road south to Pickering is open, clear and doing what a road should do!
